RecoKit product recommendations for PrestaShop

The module creates or associates the RecoKit account automatically.

Data protection and privacy
RecoKit does not need your customers’ personal information to generate recommendations: names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and payment data are not used for this purpose.
The module sends products, order line items (product, quantity and price) and technical identifiers needed for deduplication and attribution. It does not send the customer’s named contact details. Sales data is used only to calculate product associations for your store; it is not used to train a global model shared between merchants.
The RecoKit session cookie used to attribute a conversion to a recommendation is pseudonymous. Its use should remain subject to your consent-management tool and cookie policy. You remain responsible for informing visitors and configuring your store for GDPR compliance.
Data is isolated per store. To exercise data rights or request deletion, use the support contact shown in the module configuration or on the RecoKit website. Contractual terms are described in the RecoKit DPA.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to create a RecoKit account?
No. After installation, the module automatically creates or associates the store account. You do not need to return to the website to register. If you want to access the portal, the module configuration lets you request a password reset by email. If the connection fails, it also provides a manual key fallback.
Is processing immediate?
No. Synchronization and recommendation calculations are asynchronous. Use the manual synchronization button only after an interruption, a mismatch or a large catalog change.
Does the module modify my theme or core tables?
It uses official PrestaShop hooks and does not require manual theme changes or modifications to native PrestaShop tables.
Are my customers’ data used to train AI?
No. Personal customer data is not needed for recommendations. Sales lines are used only for co-purchases in your store and are not used to train a shared global model.
What happens when I uninstall it?
Uninstalling does not automatically disconnect the store. Use the separate disconnect action in the module configuration to remove saved credentials.
